Tucked away by SF state and hidden away in the fog is a gem of a burger. Hall of flame has mostly classic burgers, with Niman ranch burger Pattie's (yum). I ordered the humdinger, which has a generous helping of mushrooms on top. My boyfriend and I were craving the same burger so the only difference was his was medium and mine was medium rare. Both were so juicy. As soon as we bit in, our hands were splashed. The house salad was yummy with a light and balanced dressing that is neither too sweet nor too acidic. Quite large for the price! The service and ambiance are what you expect from a casual burger spot. They're quick and kind; the chairs and cups are plastic. But if you're just looking for a quick, casual burger while watching some sports, this is the spot.

DAMNNN DAMNNN DAMN... DAMN! Came here because I kept seeing large crowds go in. Ambiance: 10/10 some dope artwork, tvs on, chill spot for sure Service: 9/10 dude working the register was kinda quiet and awkward but pretty quick! Food: 10/10, medium rare burger. cooked to perfection, good cheese, great bread, thick patty. Best burger I've had in a hotttt minute. Literally so juicy it dripped onto my shirt but it was so good I didn't even care a bit LOL. 7/10, chili fries, chili tasted amazing but the fries were super thin and a little too crispy for my liking, if they had thicker fries it would be perfection. 10/10, strawberry milkshake, literally one of the best strawberry milkshakes I've had in a LOOOONG time, my god it was perfection. New go to burger spot, forget all the big chains. This is the spot and it's next to a cannabis dispensary which is even better! HALL OF FLAME FOR SURE

I love the fries! Hot, thin, and crispy is BEST. 1/2 pound burger is perfectly medium-rare as requested in my HumDinger. I think I'm in Love...perfect to share.
